James Barnett | Founder/Executive Director
James founded CYNY in January of 2010 and hails from the beaches of Florida. He loves the outdoors, graphic design, singing, guitar, cycling, and booty dancing. In 2009 he chose to live homeless and did so for two years. Out of that experience, CYNY was born. He now lives in Melbourne, FL and is the Student Pastor for First United Methodist Church by day and oversees all operations for CYNY by night. James also acts as Creative Director for our team. Matthew Follman | Ground Coordinator
Matt came on board with Clothe Your Neighbor in May of 2012 as our official Street Team Member. Earlier in 2012, Matt sold everything he owned to live with the poor and homeless. His journey took him to Melbourne, FL where he met our founder, James Barnett. Because the two has such similar stories, they hit it off immediately and Clothe Your Neighbor decided to resource Matt with the clothing items needed to care for people along his own journey. Ryan Vet | Director of Communications
Ryan grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. With an entrepreneurial spirit and creative drive, Ryan founded a marketing firm at age 15 that has benefited organizations and non-profits since 2005. Passionate about people and cultures, Ryan has traveled to hundreds of cities nationally and internationally partnering with various agencies and non-governmental organizations to provide resources and services to the impoverished and less fortunate. Additionally, Ryan is a coffee junkie that loves hiking, kayaking, biking, camping, playing guitar, piano, traveling, and writing. Mike Clevenger | Manager of Social Channels
Mike is Florida-born and raised. He currently lives in intentional community with our founder, James Barnett, in Melbourne, FL. He enjoys reading, writing, music, cycling, traveling, coffee, and good BBQ. In July, Mike leaves for India on an 11-month mission trip to 11 different nations through The World Race to love on our neighbors around the world. Caleb Lange | Director of Global Relationships
Caleb is originally from Atlanta, GA and has spent the past 7 years working with poverty sticken and/or vulnerable children around the globe. He’s been a voice for many non-profits and has helped them move forward in their vision. Currently, Caleb is living a nomadic lifestyle to spread the word on the sexually-trafficked children he calls his brothers and sisters. He enjoys long walks on the beach, making sweet melodies from the six-string, and piggy-back rides. Nathan Beam | College Intern
Nathan Beam is our intern from Melbourne, FL. He joined the team this Spring to help lead research on homelessness and the church. He has been involved in homeless advocacy since 2008 and is excited to use his skills to help CYNY. We are incredibly honored to have him in board. Nathan wouldn’t tell you this but he’s an incredibly gifted singer and song-writer. We stole one of his promo photos for this picture. Shhh. For Clothe Your Neighbor, Nathan is currently researching faith demographics and how they respond to homelessness. Jenette Satriano | Bookkeeper
Jenette is our mid-westerner! She live’s in Mitchell, SD with her wonderful family. This woman had single-handedly made sense of the numbers and kept us on track with the IRS. We would be absolutely lost without her involvement and are grateful for her every day.
